In July 2013, four students in the Saudi port city of Jedda launched a podcast and online video series called “Asfar,” aiming to promote civil discourse and scientific reasoning in their society. This short video, produced by Joseph Braude, features two of their Web productions, with English subtitles; and a conversation with the program’s host, Omar al-Anazi.
