FPRI President Alan Luxenberg Interviewed on WYLL Chicago about the Israeli Election Results

Alan LuxenbergIn discussing the Israeli election results, FPRI President Alan Luxenberg argued that Netanyahu’s late-inning dismissal of the two-state solution would eventually be reversed because the two-state solution may be a terrible idea but it is better than all the alternatives and there is no way for Israel to remain both a Jewish state and a democratic state without it.  Netanyahu’s sounding an alarm over Arab voter turnout is also “anti-Zionist,” Luxenberg argued, in the sense that it goes against the sentiments expressed in Israel’s declaration of independence, which called for equal political rights for all citizens regardless of religion or ethnicity.
