John Ford is a Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) where he studies proliferation programs using open-source methods and satellite imagery. His work primarily focuses on monitoring North Korean industrial capacity, assessing nuclear developments using open-source satellite imagery, and tracking international strategic defense treaties. Prior to joining FPRI, John worked as a Research Fellow at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies and was an intelligence analyst in the US Army.
John holds a Masters of Arts in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews in 2010 and graduated from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies with a Masters in Nonproliferation and Terrorism in 2022.
