A Tribute to Colin S. Gray (1943–2020)

| Center for the Study of America and the West

About the Event

Early this year, one of the most consequential Anglo-American geopolitical strategists of our time, Dr. Colin S. Gray passed away after a decades-long struggle with cancer. In his honor, FPRI, in partnership with "The War Room" at the U.S. Army War College, is pleased to offer a “virtual” panel on his contributions to national security, particularly strategic thinking and strategic culture. Over his fruitful career, he taught two generations of U.S. and British defense experts, authored some 30 books and countless articles on strategy, arms control and nuclear policy. He served from 1982 until 1987 in the Reagan Administration's General Advisory Committee on Arms Control and Disarmament.

A portion of this event will appear in a future episode of "The War Room" at the U.S. Army War College.
