Benny Gantz and Benjamin Netanyahu: The Illusion of Unity

| Middle East Program

About the Event

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Kachol Lavan chairman Benny Gantz reached agreement on a unity government, including provisions on prime ministerial rotations and provisions about different ministerial appointees. To discuss the latest in Israeli politics, the FPRI's Middle East Director, Dr. Aaron Stein, will moderate a virtual panel discussion with Ms. Yaël Mizrahi-Arnaud, a researcher at the Council on Foreign Relations and Dr. Michael Koplow, the Policy Director of the Israel Policy Forum, to discuss the unity agreement, and the reasons why these two men entered into this arrangement.
