Aid to Ukraine: Lessons Learned and Future Needs

April 24, 2025 | 10:00 am to 11:00 am | Eurasia Program

About the Event

Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, foreign aid has played a major role in boosting defense capabilities and supporting the day-to-day functioning of the war-afflicted country. Support has flowed and continues to flow from many directions, but one vital element of it was the US aid. Can Ukraine continue to count on it? Can Europe alone continue to help Ukraine? How are international aid organizations handling the situation in this difficult environment? What impact might a reduction of the US aid have on Poland, Ukraine's direct neighbor and one of its biggest supporters?
