Michael Duitsman

Michael Duitsman is a Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) and an expert on open source techniques and weapons technology. With over ten years of experience in open source techniques, data management, and analysis, he made significant contributions to the open source team at the Center for Nonproliferation Studies. Outside of OSINT, he is one of the preeminent US experts on Soviet and Russian ballistic missile technology, while also studying manufacturing technology, Soviet advanced weapons research, and the politics of the Russian defense industrial complex. He has contributed to research, analysis, and reporting on North Korea, Russia, China, and Iran, and co-authored a book chapter on the application of OSINT techniques to radiological security.
