Jacques deLisle is Director of the Asia Program at the Foreign Policy Research Institute and the Stephen A. Cozen Professor of Law, Professor of Political Science, Director of the Center for East Asian Studies and Deputy Directory of the Center for the Study of Contemporary China at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Chinese politics and legal reform, U.S-China relations, cross-strait relations, and China’s engagement with the international legal order.

Thomas J. Shattuck is the Editor of Geopoliticus: The FPRI Blog and a Research Associate at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. He received his BA in History and English from La Salle University in 2013 and his MA in International Studies from National Chengchi University in 2016.
