Andžej Pukšto graduated in history from Vilnius University (1996) and defended his PhD at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw (2004). Since 2005, he has been at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas as an associate professor and the head of the Department of Political Science (2008-2020). His research is focused on East and Central European Politics. Pukšto has been a visiting lecturer at University of Warsaw (Poland), Reichman University (Israel), and Vandee Catholic University (France). He is also editor in-chief of Baltic Journal of Law and Politics and a member of editorial board: Politichni doslidzhenija in Kyiv.
