Hajnalka Vincze, a Senior Fellow in the Center for the Study of America and the West at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, contributes to FPRI on French, EU, and transatlantic politics and policies. Vincze is a European foreign and security policy analyst, formerly in charge of European Union and transatlantic issues at the Hungarian Ministry of Defense’s Research Institute. She has written widely on the politics and foreign policy of Europe, with a particular focus on France’s strategically pivotal role. She is a regular contributor to the French review Défense & Stratégie, to the English-Italian review The Federalist/Il Federalista, her writings have been published in the UK (Palgrave Macmillan), France (La Documentation française), as well as in Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and Hungary.
