Katherine Michaelson is a senior at Middlebury College majoring in International Global Studies with a focus on East Asia. She currently works as a host on the Irregular Warfare podcast and a research assistant for the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. Her work has been published in The Diplomat, and she previously covered China as a freelance journalist for Voice of America. She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
