Samuel Kramer

Dr. Samuel Kramer is an Ax:son Johnson Institute Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Geopolitics at the University of Cambridge. His research focuses on state-building, political history, and the relationship between national minorities and European statecraft. He completed his PhD at the University of St Andrews, where his doctoral thesis examined the changing relationship between the restored Estonian state and its Russophone minority.

 

In addition to the Baltic Bulletin, Dr. Kramer’s research has appeared in academic and policy publications, including Contemporary European History and New Eastern Europe. He has also presented on European political thought and Baltic history in London, St Andrews, and Tartu.
