Alexander Gostev is a Prague-based senior editor, international affairs correspondent and political analyst with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s Russian Service, locally known as Radio Svoboda. He’s also the author and the editor of Svoboda’s acclaimed podcast “Atlas of the World’.

Since joining RFE/RL in 2001, Mr. Gostev has been covering a wide range of topics on Russian foreign policy and international relations, including Iran. Born and raised in Russia, he is a graduate of the faculty of journalism from Moscow State University.
