David Austin Walsh is currently a postdoctoral associate at the Yale Program for the Study of Antisemitism. Previously a College Fellow at the University of Virginia. He earned a PhD in U.S. history from Princeton University.

His book Taking America Back: The Conservative Movement and the Far Right, is a history of the intertwined relationship between the radical right wing and the mainstream conservative movement from the New Deal era through to the end of the twentieth century.
