Dr. Kabir Adamu is a leading expert in security risk management, intelligence, and national security solutions. As the Managing Director of Beacon Security and Intelligence Limited, an Abuja-based firm specializing in security risk management across Nigeria and the Sahel region, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in addressing complex security challenges.

With a Doctorate in Strategic Security Risk Management and extensive experience across public, private, and development sectors, Dr. Adamu has advised multinational organizations operating in high-risk environments. His firm provides a wide range of security solutions, including national security sector governance, risk and crisis management, security intelligence, investigations, and protective services.

He is a Fellow of several prestigious security institutes and a member of ASIS International. His past roles include heading Security and Intelligence at the Office of the President of the Senate during Nigeria’s 9th Assembly. He currently contributes through the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation to the ministerial review process under Executive Order 13.

A recognized thought leader, Dr. Adamu serves as a resource person in several learning centers including the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, National Defence College, the National Institute for Security Studies, the Africa Center for Strategic Studies of the United States’ National Defense University  amongst others. He frequently appears in national and international media, offering expert analysis on security and geopolitical affairs. His insights continue to shape policy and enhance safety and security across Nigeria and the broader Sahel region.
