Global Impacts of the War in Gaza

October 23, 2023 | 1:00 pm | Middle East Program

About the Event

Israel's ongoing campaign to defeat Hamas in Gaza following the surprise attacks on civilians on October 7 has had reverberations in world capitals across the globe. Just as the global security order had begun to orient around the effects of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, a new war in the Middle East may upend priorities in Washington and elsewhere.

Please join FPRI Senior Fellows Leon Hadar and Michael Walsh, Director of FPRI's Asia Program Michael Beckley, and James Ryan, the director of the Middle East Program, to discuss reactions to the events in Israel and Gaza in a global context.
