In a follow up to the testimony FPRI’s Clint Watts gave on March 30, 2017, Watts testified to the Senate Committee on Armed Services – Subcommittee on Cybersecurity on April 27.  At this hearing, Watts discussed some additional points regarding Russia’s cyber influence success, how their cyber influence is powered by real people, four areas the U.S. must tackle to counter cyber influence operations, and how the private sector is outpacing the U.S. government in meeting the challenges of cyber influence.
