About David Eisenhower

David Eisenhower is Senior Fellow of FPRI and co-chairman of FPRI’s History Institute. A graduate of Amherst College and George Washington University Law School, he is presently a Public Policy Fellow at the Annenberg School of Communication and the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches communications and the presidency and the Cold War.

Eisenhower served in the U.S. Navy and authored Eisenhower at War, 1943–1945, a New York Times bestseller and one of three history jury selections for the Pulitzer Prize in History in 1987. He is currently working on two sequels. Additionally, he is the Director of the Institute for Public Service at Penn and a member of the editorial board for the Presidential Studies Quarterly.
